Responsibilities
Participate in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules to ensure smooth project operations.
Prepare and present status and technical content to IPT Level.
Gathers data to monitor project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specification to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved.
Supports Class 1 and Class 2 engineering change execution.
Maintains plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
Participate in the risks assessments and develop mitigation plan as needed.
Responsible for project assignments with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Support military budget EVMS activities.
Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE Operating System tools and support AS9100 efforts.
Support project management activities.
Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Industrial Engineering with 2 years of engineering experience or An Advanced degree in engineering with GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
2 years of experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project or other scheduling software
