Responsibilities

Provides quality engineering support for quick issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

Plans and implements total quality programs based on customer requirements.

Ensures quality systems meet or exceed IATF16949 standards.

Designs, specifies, and installs quality control systems and equipment.

Acts as a liaison, coordinates resources, and solves manufacturing-related problems.

Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives.

Required

Prior experience with IATF 16949 processes

Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process submissions, Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing, Flow Diagrams, FMEA’s, Control Plans, Statistics, and fixture development based on part GD&T

Demonstrated ability to use basic measurement tools (height gauge, vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, indicator, etc)

Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis using various problem-solving techniques including Drill Deep, 8D, 5 Phase

Ability to communicate to all levels of plant personnel with ease

Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team

Ability to coordinate and facilitate cross-functional team meetings

Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs
