Responsibilities

Support global security leadership with the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and guidelines.

Act as the primary security liaison for North American business units, providing expert advice and guidance on information security matters.

Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with the global security strategy.

Assist in the design and implementation of security solutions tailored to the region’s specific needs.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies to business units.

Develop and deliver information security training and awareness programs for employees and contractors within the region.

Promote a culture of security awareness through regular communications and educational initiatives.

Ensure that all security controls are properly documented, tested, and attested to meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Conduct periodic reviews and audits of security controls to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with policies.

Prepare and present control attestation reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.

Prepare reports and presentations for senior management review.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the information security function through feedback and regional insights.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on policy development, risk management, and compliance.

Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

Experience in developing and delivering training programs is a plus.
