Responsibilities

Decide action plan and utilize CAE tools to execute analysis for assigned specification setting and requirement confirmation activities

Collaborate with test and part design engineers and project chiefs to optimize specifications for performance, cost, and weight. Collaborate with and mentor other CAE Engineers for efficient and accurate joint CAE analysis.

Create documentation for specification and confirmation results and explain to direct supervisor

Required

BS or higher in mechanical engineering

BS and 3-6 years of engineering experience or MS and 0-3 years of engineering experience

Proficient with 1D CAE, 3D CAE, and programming language software such as ANSA, Hyperworks, Optistruct, Matlab, Python, and Excel VBA

Experience with body-in-white local and global static and dynamic stiffness performance

Experience with vehicle suspension, brake, and electric power unit NVH CAE

Ability to breakdown complex concepts into simple summaries

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
