Responsibilities

Work collaboratively to design, research, deploy, implement, and operate systems. Improve planning of deployment and test and oversees code releases.

Release incremental updates and develop tools to help automate software deployment processes.

Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues in test, development, and production processes and environments. Collaborate and coordinate to increase effectiveness.

Continuously improve infrastructure to be easily scalable and deployable, refining operating environments. Monitor application performance and increase system responsiveness by correcting and anticipating operational issues before they occur.

Support multiple platforms, providing guidance, handling issues, and making recommendations to increase overall efficiency. Develop processes and tooling and create playbooks to improve and drive overall effectiveness and productivity.

Troubleshoot issues and monitor system performance to ensure high performance and availability.

Required

10 plus years of experience as a DevOps engineer or Application Developer

Expert experience with AWS. AWS Certifications required

Strong experience with Typescript and AWS CDK

Experience with Jenkin and GitHub Actions

Working understanding of scripting and coding, with the flexibility to respond to ever changing processes

The willingness and ability to use a variety of cloud services and open source technologies

An understanding of the software development lifecycle and various automation tools for the development of digital pipelines. Knowledge of Agile methodology required

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong decision-making ability and understanding of best practices
