Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve user issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), virtual private networks (VPN), and secure access solutions.
Perform network architecture assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing security posture and optimizing network performance.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to network security and Fortinet products.

Required
Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Fortinet technologies.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching concepts.
Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiAP.
Solid understanding of security best practices and industry standards (e.g., CIS, NIST).
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Datadog).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Preferred
Fortinet certification(s) such as NSE 4, NSE 5, or NSE 7.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
