Responsibilities

Collaborates with other data scientists and data engineers to research, design, build, and refine data sciences capabilities to deliver analytical solutions as part of a big project to support the organization.

Presents analytical insights, results, and suggests business recommendations to external business partners and senior leadership teams.

Assists in managing projects and communicate project progress and challenges to the working team.

Engages in Data Science model peer reviews with other DS groups. May provide recommendations for potential enhancements.

Provides coaching to junior team members.

Required

Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or other STEM fields with 4-6 years’ experience in insurance industry or related industry in a data science/predictive environment. OR PhD in Mathematics, Engineering, or other STEM fields preferred with 2-4 years’ experience in insurance industry or related industry in a data science/predictive environment.

At least 4 years of firsthand experience with Statistical Modeling and various AI/ML platforms

Experience with XGBoost and Random Forest modeling

This is a remote position and can be worked from any US-based home
