Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a supplier management system, including supplier quality manuals, procedures, scorecards, and improvement activities.

Monitor the supplier’s quality performance, such as product defects, on-time delivery, and incidents involving failure to meet requirements.

Perform initial suppliers’ assessments and ongoing supplier audits. Develop phase-out and phase-in plans for suppliers to improve supply chain performance.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure root causes are documented, corrective actions are taken, and quality agreement-related issues are addressed.

Collaborate with Engineering to align the supplier’s capability with product requirements. Issue corrective action requests/notifications based on supplier performance.

Required

Candidates should possess a 4-year technical degree; an Engineering degree is preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of Quality Engineering experience, preferably with high-volume consumer products

Ability to travel up to 40%

Ability to exercise professional judgment in identifying organizational improvement.

Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams as a change agent, facilitator, coach and mentor.

Preferred

CQE and/or CQA certification is a plus
