Responsibilities

Apply hardware embedded design principles to complete design and failure analysis

Contribute to Software architecture, design strategy, and Software development of embedded systems

Provide input and direction for product specifications, automated test fixtures, and test software

Create functional models and prototypes to perform validation / testing through experimental methods

Participate on development team that can include Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and Lab Technicians

Work is closely managed by more experienced engineers

Specify materials and production processes

Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science

0 – 2+ years of related experience

Familiar with 8-bit and 16-bit microcontrollers; understanding the fundamentals of microcontrollers

Ability to travel

Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
