Responsibilities

Work with large sets of data in various formats and structures, including APIs.

Utilize programming languages such as SQL and Python for data analysis and ETL processes.

Conduct data conversion/migration tasks and ensure data quality management and governance.

Collaborate with the team to fact-check information and support data migration projects.

Participate in large-scale projects, perform data modeling, and assess legacy data for matching with new structures.

Required

6+ Years as a Expert/strong data analysis and statistical background

Experience working with large sets of data in variety of formats/structures (including APIs)

Proficiencies in programming languages such as SQL/Python & ability to ETL data from various sources

Knowledgeable in data science, data warehousing/database design & management, data assessments, matching legacy data to new data structures, data modeling and data quality management/governance/standards

Strong attention to detail & problem-solving capabilities

Python, PySpark, Hive and SQL skills required

Data analysis experience required preferably with Credit card data

Ability to fact check information provided by the team that is doing data migration is required

Experience/involvement with large scale projects a must, but basic project management/organizational skills are required

Should have worked in complex projects, have business analysis skills combined with data analysis and technical skills. The project involves discovery to identify impacted areas when creating a new data model for new credit card data. The downstream consumers of the data are to migrate to the new model which is the future state. The candidate would be required to do some structural data changes like primary key or field changes based on a new account hierarchy structure. Python is also required
