Responsibilities

Remain current in latest decarbonization technology offerings.
Track record of performing feasibility and optimization studies, process simulations and heat and material balances, process equipment sizing, process data for instrument and mechanical data sheets, hydraulic piping line sizing and other philosophies and reports
Defines and selects team required to deliver scope of work.
Effectively leads project team comprised of multi‐discipline / multi‐location members.
Sets clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule, productivity and budget targets.
Capable of collaborating across WSP key sectors such as transportation, water management, transmission and distribution to support holistic green hydrogen project development for our customers.
Active on collaborative development of value propositions proposals and new business acquisition.
Provide mentoring to junior employees.
Perform Project Management duties as required.
Perform audits and troubleshooting of existing hydrogen production infrastructure for consideration for decarbonization.
Comply with regulatory requirements pertaining to the data integrity, documentation, procedures, training, monitoring systems, and record compliance and retention.
Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, or closely related discipline.
10+ years of applicable experience
Eager to engage potential customers to effectively find solutions to their challenges.
Demonstrated PM experience leading small and medium projects or portions of large projects – feasibility through front end engineering scopes and detailed engineering including site assignments.
Relevant consulting or operating experience in a setting such as oil & gas, industrial production, or utilities. We are open to candidates with varied industrial backgrounds with the right experience, interest, and engagement.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Periodic domestic travel is required.

Preferred

Previous experience in one or more of the following areas - electrolysis, carbon capture, ammonia, or other e-fuels
