Responsibilities

Leverage principal contributors to explore concept development to influence product, a point-of-view around visual style, and product commitments.

Create aesthetically excellent work that is true to the Google brand spirit.

Design at scale through a strong systems approach.

Elevate the visual and motion design of Photos while accounting for the design details of building a product.

Partner with User Experience Designers, Product Managers and Engineers to define, challenge, and solve complex problems to enhance interactivity and delight users.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of consumer product design experience with a focus on visual and motion design.

Experience managing projects involving cross-functional and cross-team stakeholder groups.

Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: illustration, animation, motion graphics, creative direction, prototyping.

Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

2 years of experience leading design projects.

Demonstrated ability to design, create, and implement animations using After Effects, including optimization for web and mobile using Lottie.
