Responsibilities
Ensure that Scrum is understood and enacted by the Scrum Team.
Help remove impediments to the Development Team's progress and practice agility.
Help those outside the Scrum Team understand their interactions and maximize value created by the Scrum Team.
Create high performing teams with a common vision, goals, and metrics.
Promote and support Agile and Scrum as per the Scrum Guide and SAFe framework.
Teach and coach Scrum Team(s) on Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote collaboration between team members and with other teams.
Teach and coach multiple teams on writing better user stories, acceptance criteria, and planning for value delivery.
Support Product Owner/Manager(s) in effective Product Backlog management and maximizing value.
Resolve cross-team dependencies and impediments to the Development Team's progress.
Improve skills through continuous learning and development activities.
Analyze empirical data to improve quality, transparency, and delivery predictability.
Balance teaching and coaching by guiding teams through challenging situations and providing nuanced responses.

Experienced Scrum Master
Support a team relatively new to Agile Methodology
Ensure Scrum is understood and enacted
Ensure Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules
Participative leader for the Scrum Team
Help remove impediments to the Development Team's progress
Understand and practice agility
Help those outside the Scrum Team understand interactions

Teach and coach Scrum Team(s) regarding Scrum theory, practices, and rules
Ensure all Scrum ceremonies take place with proper attendees
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies
Promote collaboration and achieve synergy between team members and other teams
Teach and coach multiple teams on writing better user stories, acceptance criteria, sizing of stories, planning to deliver value, limiting WIP, continuous learning, and continuous improvement within each sprint
Support Product Owner/Manager(s) in effective Product Backlog management
Resolve cross-team dependencies and impediments to the Development Team's progress
Improve skills and abilities through continuous learning and development
Engage in organizational learning opportunities
Analyze and leverage empirical data to improve quality, transparency, delivery predictability, and organizational decision-making
Balance teaching and coaching
Coach the team on how to best proceed through asking questions
Handle difficult conversations and provide targeted responses
Help grow the overall level of team members
