Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, and debugging changes to complex embedded systems

Creating sustainable, well-organized, and efficient code and schematics

Reviewing code and hardware designs with agile teams

Generating test software and hardware experiments for component and systems verification

Collaborating with optical, electrical and mechanical engineers to plan, design, and build high-performance systems

Maintaining version control in Git

Following best practices in build automation and unit testing

Required

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical, or Systems Engineering

5+ years experience in embedded systems and firmware development

Proficiency with C, Free RTOS required

Experience with electronic schematic design and component selection

Experience with Git or similar source control system

Preferred

Experience with Altium

Experience with Python

Experience with motion control and hardware synchronization
