Responsibilities

Lead a team of approximately 15-20 data scientists, data engineers, business intelligence, and software engineering professionals.

Create new digital products and roadmaps to uncover key insights for revenue generation.

Apply emerging concepts in data science, machine learning, and AI to drive profitability and innovation.

Foster a culture of mentorship and best practices within the data science and data engineering teams.

Interface with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and directors of a Fortune 500 company.

Required

10 years of experience in the fields of data science and data analytics.

Understanding of emerging data science and analytics concepts (i.e. Gen AI / LLM)

Ability to translate business needs into thoughtful data/technology use cases and products.

5+ years of proven leadership experience (this role manages 15-20 data professionals)

Prior experience in predictive analytics using Python, PySpark, etc.

Professional experience in digital product management

Strong SQL experience

Excellent communication skills and project management experience

A masters degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics, or another technical degree, or 10+ years of professional experience in the field.
