Responsibilities
Create competitive, innovative product mix to increase revenue and profitability in categories like structures, furniture, fixtures, and flooring
Establish a master product matrix by category including customer segmentation, product requirements, features, certifications, pricing, sustainability, and containerization specifications
Conduct ongoing customer and industry research to anticipate new trends
Manage the entire product lifecycle including phase-out and disposal planning
Organize and participate in cross-functional design thinking brainstorming workshops
Develop prototypes from mock-ups to 3D models
Plan and execute cross-functional team workshops, meetings, and customer showcases
Define minimum construction standards for design and manufacturability, ensuring standardization across the network
Test and refine product and containerization concepts, troubleshoot production samples, and incorporate feedback
Collaborate with procurement for partnership maintenance and development, leveraging trade shows and industry resources
Work with regulatory bodies to secure necessary certifications per industry standards
Provide cost estimates and financial analysis for products in development
Support product claims and intellectual property protection in collaboration with the legal department
Partner with marketing to create sales collateral for product launches
Implement product training processes across the enterprise
Support customer product presentations as needed
Perform any other assigned duties

Required
Design/ad agency experience

Create documentation for conducting ongoing customer and industry research

Work with regulatory bodies to ensure all required certifications are issued and assigned per industry requirements
Provide cost estimates and financial analysis for all products in development
Support product claims and protect intellectual property through collaboration with legal department
Partner with marketing to develop sales collateral to support all product launches
Create and implement product training process across the enterprise - Growth, Design and Delivery
Support all customer product presentations as required
