Responsibilities

Primary contributor of the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
Intermediate writing of clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Support troubleshooting and debugging software issues
Support code reviews to ensure code quality
Create and maintain technical documentation
Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Have a sphere of influence within a broader product or system

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
2-4 years of experience in software engineering
Experience building services and modular code in Typescript
Experience with Figma, styling processors, and designing modular styled components
Experience with Continuous Integration concepts and tools
Experience delivering highly available and reliable systems
Experience mentoring other developers
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Best practices utilizing RESTful API calls or Graphql
Experience with Node.js
Experience with React or Vue.js – Next/Nuxt.js
Experience interacting with both NoSQL stores like Mongo or Cassandra, and SQL databases like MySQL and Postgres

Preferred

Experience with Amazon Web Service APIs (or SDKs) and event-driven architecture
Familiarity with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes
Experience working in an agile environment
Exposure to multiple programming languages
Reactive programming experience
