Responsibilities
Support local and regional environmental water resource projects in planning, data analysis, reporting, data management, and design.
Be involved in stormwater/watershed planning, civil design work, site investigation, plans and permit review, model development, and reporting on climate change and sea level rise.
Work under the guidance of Senior Project Managers and Senior Engineers, provide mentorship, and collaborate with peers.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Agricultural, Biological, or Civil Engineering, other hydroscience or related field is required
A minimum of 5 years of experience related to water resource projects, and environmental or civil engineering
Project Management Experience
Working knowledge of Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis and Modeling and Stormwater System Design
Working knowledge of ArcGIS and ArcHydro tools for H&H modeling applications
Working knowledge of H&H modeling software ICPR4, ICPR v3, EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS
Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD and Microstation recommended
Knowledge and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint is required
Database skills
Strong technical writing skills and Strong communication and facilitation skills
Be self-driven, motivated and able to perform duties independently with minimal guidance.
PE certification in Florida or the ability to obtain in Florida.
Preferred
Experience with Southwest Florida Water Management District Watershed Management Plan projects (including GWIS database framework and development)
Experience in the various water management District’s ERP processes
A master's degree with a water resources tract, hydrologic science or environmental or civil engineering preferred.
Professional certifications are preferred (Professional Engineer or Professional Hydrologist)
Understanding of OneWater concepts and framework
Understanding of climate change and resiliency
Project Management lead experience is a plus
