Responsibilities
Take a leadership role in establishing a safe workplace and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Provide technical support to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost.
Focus on operational issues within the assigned department and participate in cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot downstream production areas affected by primary responsibilities.
Improve operation efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and implement new technologies.
Develop relationships with various departments and external partners.
Manage mill vendors and enhance technology through supplier collaboration.
Assist with quality testing, identify root causes for deficiencies, and oversee chemical management.
Support outage execution, safety improvements, and manage hourly technicians.
Collaborate with teams, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and promote a safe working environment.

Required
B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper or other related Engineering field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Industrial Manufacturing setting.
Must possess strong analytical and technical skills.
Excellent communication, documentation, and computer skills are required.
Must have the ability/desire to work in a team environment.
Must possess a high level of integrity, inspiring trust.
Must demonstrate the ability to promote a safe working environment.
Must show a drive for results and desire to continually improve.
The ability to effectively manage conflict, the possession of managerial courage and interpersonal savvy are required.
Preferred
The ability to communicate vision and purpose and the ability to motivate others is a plus.
