Responsibilities

Recommends strategic network planning and network evolution policy decisions to support corporate initiatives, customer demand, and technology changes.

Evaluates network capacity/performance criteria and develops strategies for accommodating network growth and change.

Creates deliverables such as Plans of Record, Forecasts, Cost Estimates, and Utility Agreements.

Provides short- and long-term planning for access network technologies, including solution recommendations and implementation strategies.

Demonstrates basic knowledge of engineering positions, design tools, and databases for small to medium projects.

Seeks guidance from peers for complex designs, process issues, and database problems.
