Responsibilities

Create reports to support business needs by developing and maintaining standard reports, mining and analyzing data, interpreting results, and preparing business reports.

Support sales, underwriting, and rating systems by providing data-supported analytical insights and maintaining underwriting and rating engine factors.

Support clinical program and cost containment analysis by providing data-supported analytical insights and maintaining key performance metrics.

Work with IS to identify errors, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process automation by coordinating corrective measures, participating in testing, and identifying efficiency opportunities.

Assist with special projects as requested by management.

Required

Relevant College degree or one to three years of data analytics experience

Experience working with large datasets. Experience with data tools such as Access and Excel. Intermediate SQL skills preferred.

Focused on execution and completing assigned tasks even in situations with a high level of ambiguity

Ability to translate data into actionable analysis and effectively communicate those findings to a variety of audiences

Ability to work under, and handle stress associated with varying workloads and deadlines

Good communicator with an innate curiosity. Ability to ask questions to get clarity on how to best answer business questions using available data sources. Ability to share information in formats that meet various audience needs

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with best practices of data management and governance

Ability to meet company attendance requirements and work extended hours as needed

Ability to speak English fluently. Ability to read, comprehend, follow and give written and verbal English instructions

Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for 7.5 hours per day
