Responsibilities

Develop and implement an integrated leadership communication strategy, framework and editorial plan.

Serve as counselor and thought partner to senior leadership on messaging and communication strategies.

Create various internal and external communications materials including presentations, videos, and thought leadership content.

Partner with senior leadership and HR business partners on organizational change communications.

Identify gaps in organizational communication and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Build internal relationships, provide project management support, and ensure consistent messaging.

Coordinate content review and approval with key stakeholders.

Identify divisional stories to elevate as part of a corporate narrative.

Maintain a consistent voice aligning with corporate positioning and messaging.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or equivalent.

A minimum of 7 years of employee engagement or leadership communications within a corporate or agency environment. Experience within the life sciences and medical device industry is preferred.

Broad experience developing and executing strategic communications across internal and external channels focused on corporate brand reputation, business strategy, priorities, employee engagement and thought leadership.

Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Proven ability to provide strategic counsel at all levels of the organization.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work on deadline.

Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and translate complex ideas into a digestible format.

Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing competing priorities.

Excellent project management, organizational, planning and time management skills.

Solutions-oriented, with a willingness to bring new ideas and try new approaches.

Ability to collaborate with teams virtually across multiple locations and time zones.

Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence; adept at consensus-building and incorporating differing viewpoints into recommendations.
