Responsibilities

Design circuit layouts to meet company engineering standards and customer requirements for all internal and external orders.

Order equipment for circuits as required using Infinium to create the project.

Audit the record inventory in all central offices and make any necessary updates or changes to those records.

Validate and coordinate record data integrity between the company and connecting LECs.

Work with various engineering groups to coordinate and correct orders.

Identify areas requiring additional facilities and notify the proper engineering group.

Required

Bachelor's or associate degree in a technical discipline preferred but not required.

4 years of experience in network architecture relating to circuit and network design.

2 years experience with DLR and GLR design layout

Knowledge of M6 (MetaSolve, Granite) or experience in a similar system

Understanding of provisioning and Telcordia standards preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Some travel may be required
