Responsibilities
Plans and designs complex business processes and system modifications. Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities.
Gathers business requirements through techniques such as work sessions and interviews. Analyzes and documents client complex business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate parties.
Creates complex test case scenarios for testing; monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs. Develops business specifications to support complex modifications.
Coordinates and facilitates complex meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
Actively participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through the entire project.
Assists and analyzes testing results in all phases.
Provides time estimates for project-related tasks. Compares time estimates to the actual hours on a project. Provides lessons learned and ways to improve processes.
Assists with developing methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs.
Works independently to drive complex projects and is a Subject Matter Expert on multiple sub-systems.

Required
10+ years of business analysis experience
Extensive experience working with information technology interfaces within organizations and business process re-engineering
Proficiency in software development life cycle methodologies and requirement gathering, including creating deliverable documentation and structured user manuals
Strong familiarity with project and change management tools such as Visio Flow, ALM, and ServiceNow, as well as experience with SQL queries
Specialized experience in health care/health insurance industry preferred
A caring team leader who motivates and coaches less experienced resources
