Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed monthly & yearly sales goals within assigned POD
Master the critical messaging and sales approach for the broader target audience with superior knowledge of our service products
Act as a resource to others in figuring out best course of action in compliance with quality processes and business rules and regulations
Submits accurate forecasts, weekly reports, monthly highlights, marketing intelligence, and maintains data integrity within SalesForce.com CRM
Maintain intensity and continually striving to assist CMD Team in increasing contract penetration coverage of instrument install base

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or equivalent education or experience
Minimum one (1) year of selling experience strongly preferred
Experience successfully meeting or exceeding sales target in a complex business environment
Success in territory management plans with a focus on developing long-term relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)

Preferred

Knowledge of Chromatography (GC and HPLC), Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS and LC/MS) and Chromatography Information Data Systems (CDS/LIMS)
Familiarity with the following industries: biotech, clinical, pharmaceutical, academic/medical research, environmental, food, forensics, and petrochemical
Proficiency with sales software like Salesforce.com
Experience managing independent selling or distribution channels strongly preferred
