Responsibilities
Develop and administer the capital plan for project initiatives based on business needs.
Lead the scope, cost, and schedule development of capital projects.
Design, evaluate, and select equipment and exchange information with vendors and suppliers.
Create and maintain timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, health regulations, and building codes.
Coordinate equipment installation with suppliers, contractors, and operations personnel.
Develop work instructions and provide training on new equipment and support systems.
Implement process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and non-value added activities.
Manage production efficiencies, yields, and rates.
Perform duties satisfactorily to meet project engineering requirements.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or Civil preferred
2-4 years’ experience in a process manufacturing environment
Experience in the design, specification, acquisition, installation and start-up of new and improved industrial processes, equipment, buildings and support systems
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Highly organized in project scheduling, executing responsibilities and prioritizing in a multitask environment
Self-starter, able to work alone with limited supervision
Team player - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers. Ability to build collaborative relationships
Computer skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook, AutoCAD; Microsoft Projects
Must pass pre-employment physical
Physical ability to lift and/or carry a minimum of 25 lbs. and occasionally as much as 65 lbs
Must be able to climb stairs (including open mesh) with varying degrees of pitch to elevations up to 150 ft
Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds
Must be able to stand 75% of the day
Must be able to sit 25% of the day
Must be able to twist/bend 50% of the day
Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 50% of the day
