Responsibilities

Manage annual SOX compliance effort, including (1) developing and delivering annual SOX training; (2) updating process narratives; (3) providing controls testing support; (4) reviewing testing work papers; and (5) developing and implementing remediation plans

Support external audits, including, but not limited to, documentation management, status reporting, and issue remediation

Support operational audits, including, but not limited to, risk assessment, audit work program development, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation

Guide the business to ensure proper controls are considered and incorporated

Identify and communicate potential risks and improvement opportunities to leadership

Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting and Finance with 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit

Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity to adhere to regulations

Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Specific hands-on experience with SOX and audit responsibilities described above

Proficient with Microsoft Office software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Preferred

Financial system implementation, such as SAP and OneStream
