Responsibilities

Coordinate activities with Production Manager and Shift Supervisor to plan and manage shift work orders.

Ensure quality requirements and maintain an even flow of work through the fabrication department.

Schedule work, coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of employees, and communicate company policies.

Engage in employee development activities, make recommendations on hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions.

Maintain a clean, safe work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.

Conduct employee training on equipment, protocols, safety regulations, and waste control.

Supervise equipment operation, inspect materials, products, and equipment to prevent malfunctions.

Analyze fabricating performance, identify opportunities for improvement, establish goals, and execute strategies.

Participate in production meetings and provide updates as needed.

Verify job quality and investigate customer complaints regarding finishing quality.

Required

High school diploma or GED.

2+ years’ of corrugated manufacturing experience.

Ability to work flexible hours when needed.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

Some college or manufacturing training.

Previous supervisory experience with training, teambuilding, performance development, and conflict resolution.
