Responsibilities

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.

Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests.

Complete minor work orders and perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned.

Perform maintenance and repair work on buildings, hotel rooms, equipment, and systems.

Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Required

Basic reading, writing, and math skills and 1+year(s) of general maintenance and repair experience.

Completion of high school diploma or related vocational training preferred.

Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventative maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools.

Frequently standing up and moving about the facility

Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility

Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 100-300 pounds

Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with the other hotel staff and guests.

Mathematical skills, including basic math, are utilized frequently.

May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
