Responsibilities
Develop and author master production records for commercial secondary packaging
Maintain and improve the master production record template
Implement change of scope activities on validated secondary packaging SKUs
Establish focus on long-term continuous improvement activities through interaction with Engineering and Operations Staff
Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
Recommend and lead cost-saving initiatives related to business objectives and production processes
Drive engineering project initiatives to increase machine speeds, reduce labor hours, and reduce reject rates
Complete deviation investigations, change controls, and corrective/preventative actions
Evaluate and standardize machine setups to enhance run speed and quality
Incorporate Six Sigma techniques to enhance quality and reduce rejects
Provide individual project schedules and specifications to Engineering Management
Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility
Demonstrate and promote company vision of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant GMP, pharmaceutical, or food industry
7-10 years of experience in relevant GMP, pharmaceutical, or food industry
Preferred
Experience in food or pharmaceutical packaging
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and PPI
