Responsibilities
Support Netflix Original productions through technical consultation and onsite visits to empower creative flexibility.
Work with production and innovation teams to implement new technologies and imaging workflows.
Contribute to designing and testing cloud-based production technologies.
Consult on complex imaging and workflow pipeline issues affecting production costs and delivery.
Engage with internal and external teams on technical specifications and best practices for successful productions.
Stay updated on filmmaking trends and new production technologies.
Introduce emerging production technologies to key stakeholders and represent the team at industry functions.

Required
Minimum of 5 years experience of practical workflow and imaging experience applied toward actual productions either in technical on-set or post-production roles, with a focus across Nonfiction genres.
Strong customer orientation and helpful, collaborative demeanor.
An ability to translate technical jargon and filmmaking workflows into practical, applicable, and actionable directions.
Extensive understanding of broadcast, image capture, production, and post-production workflows.
A strong desire to bring cutting-edge innovative technology and techniques to elevate the Nonfiction space
Understanding of common industry tools and production practices.
Willingness and aptitude to educate both internal and external entities with varying degrees of knowledge in your areas of expertise.
Ability to develop long-standing relationships with production and post-production operational teams.
Ability to communicate and interact on a global level and frame projects with sensitivity to cultural diversity and industrial variation.
Knowledge of industry standards and the bodies that ratify them.
Experience in and relationships with technology solutions, equipment, and service vendors across production and post.
A passion for sound and the moving image.
Ability to thrive in the Netflix culture centered around feedback, transparency, and accountability
