Responsibilities

Interpret technical guidance, analyze mission requirements, and recommend effective solutions to cross domain challenges throughout the DOD.

Coordinate work with operators, aviators, and the warfighter to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to enable secure and effective solutions.

Advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and lead the team through a critical approach to network design.

Lead efforts to help customers integrate secure practices found in the Cross Domain Solution community of users and improve cross domain data transfer through cybersecurity.

Required

7+ years of experience with Navy Cybersecurity, engineering, test and evaluation, or A&A

5+ years of experience managing small delivery teams

Experience with supporting RMF A&A activities, including conducting security control validation and developing and maintaining system authorization packages

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

DoD 8570 Certification

Preferred

Experience with system vulnerability management or security patch implementation

Experience with the implementation of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publications, federal regulations, and DoD policies

Experience with the development of Cross-Domain Solution Appendixes (CDSAs) for production systems and the CDSA Phase I through CDSA Phase III process

Knowledge of Top Secret and Below Interoperability (TSABI) or Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) processes and developing artifacts that support the CDS approval process for production systems

Top Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Assurance (IA), Systems Engineering, Network Architecture and Design, or a related field
