Responsibilities
Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging existing knowledge and experience to expand current practices and capabilities through business development and client management
Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability
Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors
Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing
Data analysis, including preparing maps and figures using GIS/Environmental Visualization Software (EVS) applications, and database management
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Reviewing and managing written document production
Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
Fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction

Required
Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering, or a related field of study.
Professional registration (i.e., P.E.)
At least 8 years of direct environmental consulting experience in the US marketplace; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong experience managing contaminated land site investigation & remediation projects, with a particular emphasis on the private sector e.g. oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Detailed understanding NJDEP and USEPA regulations.
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams.
Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients, and leadership skills.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
Preferred
Advanced degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering, or a related field of study.
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers.
Field work and overnight travel may be required.
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
