Structural Engineering Specialist (Bridge Design)

Responsibilities
Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, including rehabilitation design.
Construction document production, including drawings and specifications.
Perform Bridge load ratings.
Review of shop drawings.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
Experience in use of Microstation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred
EIT/FE certification
Familiarity with PennDOT structural analysis and design software and plan preparation.
Experience in analysis and design of bridges, including rehabilitation design.
Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, Finite Element Analysis.
Experience in use in Open Roads, Open Bridge, and Projectwise software packages.
HEC RAS and bridge hydraulic experience and scour evaluation.
Familiarity with PennDOT, NJDOT and AASHTO design standards is a plus.
