Responsibilities

Provide hands-on coding expertise and technical leadership for feature development and modernization of Walmart's Promotion/Appeasement platform.

Work closely with Product, Quality Assurance, and Technology Teams to ensure stakeholder and end-user satisfaction.

Be a critically important member of the application development team in software design, coding, implementation, upholding architectural patterns, coding standards, quality principles, and customer focus.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area

5 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area

Background in creating inclusive digital experiences

Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies

Knowledge of accessibility best practices
