Responsibilities

Act as a technical expert on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects at all phases, from concept to construction.
Provide Project Management on medium to large-size projects with an opportunity to grow, including contract negotiation and managing a scope, schedule, and budget.
Support larger projects as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Task Manager, or Segment Manager.
Aid local offices pursuing or delivering BRT projects nationally with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel.
Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication.
Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals, and providing other business development support.
Management of technical staff.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.
12+ plus years of experience in Bus Rapid Transit projects or equivalent.
PE or AICP
Experience working with transit agencies and transportation department. Experience with local transit agency and DOT's.
Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedure.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred

Master’s Degree in Engineering
Direct experience with BRT
PTOE
Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and discipline-specific deliverables, certifications, processes, and plans in a multi-project environment is highly desirable.
