Responsibilities
Carry out field tests in North America for in-vehicle infotainment systems.
Evaluate Head Unit (HU) functions, connectivity with peripheral devices, server and smartphone applications, and provide high-quality products to OEMs.
Implement software evaluation (bench, vehicle), report results, create test plans, design test cases, and handle log acquisition, defect detection, and reporting.
Manage bug tickets, bug status, evaluate environment construction, understand specifications, manage equipment, and provide customer support.
Travel for testing at customer locations, conduct long drive tests, and provide customer support.

Required
Infotainment Test Engineer, minimum 2 or 3 years of experience
Experience in some of the following: Bluetooth, Media, Navigation, Receiver, Diagnostics module validation
Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
US driver’s license (can be obtained at local within the valid period of international license)
Software evaluation
Function Test, System Test, Regression Test, End to End Test
Microsoft Office: (Excel, Word、Power Point、Outlook）
Communication skills (Business English level required, multicultural teamwork)
Troubleshooting (separation of software bugs and environment / user factors, recovery from test errors, etc.)
Preferred
Experience with in-vehicle equipment (Infotainment System)

Audio (AM, FM, XM, HD radio, media devices)
Voice Recognition
CarPlay, Android Auto, SDL (Smart Device Link)

Linux (for initial analysis of defect)

Test bench construction (harness wiring)
Replacement of vehicle multimedia equipment (HU and Car Audio) and Installation (retrofit, harness wiring)
Firmware ROM writer (software renewal)
Oscilloscope
Multi-meter and noise meter (voltage / resistance measurement)
CANoe (software)
Protocol analyzer (USB communication)
Spectrum analyzer (various radio signals)
