Responsibilities

Apply extensive knowledge of cloud computing, databases, and software architecture to manage software design and development tasks.

Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture.

Manage the design, development, and operations of the team with a focus on operations excellence and availability.

Recruit and build out a diverse, capable, and cohesive engineering team.

Drive continuous improvement through the ability to see & understand the future state of Cloud Data Services.

Define technology and operational strategy and supporting roadmaps.

Own and drive strategies that optimize performance.

Identify, influence, and support key decision points for the ultimate customer experience.

Develop and monitor metrics to measure key performance indicators and business performance.

Succeed through collaboration and navigate through other internal and external organizations and individuals.

Learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.

15+ years leading complex technical/engineering product and cloud service teams, with most of this experience in a cloud environment.

15+ years of relevant work experience in cloud computing, cloud services, databases, big data, NO SQL technologies, or data science and data analytics.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
