Responsibilities

Lead Process Improvement tools and methods such as 5S, root cause analysis, and six sigma to eliminate losses in a Distribution Center.

Deliver functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and creating standard work to reduce process variation.

Assist in reviewing and responding to process improvement projects owned by area managers.

Apply new network playbooks and provide input to Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.

Lead savings projects by removing loss from the process and support company policies, initiatives, and procedures.

Manage project execution of top losses, build capability of area managers and associates, and support area loss profile analysis and performance metrics.

Develop gap analysis to support WPS integration, support Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements.

Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and demonstrating adaptability.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and ensuring diversity awareness.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and provide direction on executing business processes and practices.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years' experience in Process Improvement

Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills

Process or Value Stream Simulation knowledge

Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings

Preferred

Process Improvement experience in a Total Performance Management (or related program) environment

Six Sigma - Certification
