Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of data scientists with oversight of a portfolio spanning the entire Marketplace organization.

Develop and manage machine learning/data science models addressing challenges in assortment and performance optimization, risk mitigation, seller experience, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with business partners to define priorities and ensure solutions are implemented and adopted.

Build key measurements and a test/iterate philosophy to improve results.

Challenge accepted approaches and develop innovative solutions enabling growth across the Global Marketplace.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 6 years' experience in an analytics related field

Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics related field

8 years' experience in an analytics or related field

Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R

Supervisory experience
