Responsibilities
Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and delivery
Contribute to the resolution of all requirements/feedback/scoping/design issues or questions directly with the client
Understand the unique business and technical requirements of the engagement and facilitate communications on the most appropriate solution design
Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories
Estimating project development efforts and unit testing efforts
Developing and unit testing of code components per the user story
Conduct code audits and reviews as required
Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following best practices and client standards
Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and client.
Participate in the creation of the WBS and backlog per sprint and assist PM in project planning
Independently manage assigned tasks
Lead and manage an offshore development and QA team
Attend sprint planning, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and report technical blockers to the team

Required
Passionate coders with 10+ years of application development experience
Minimum 7 years of programming experience with Java/J2EE
Minimum 5 years of experience with Spring Boot Frameworks
Minimum 5 years of experience with API development
Minimum 2 years of experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or comparable modern UI framework
Experience working with AWS
Experience in Microservice design for complex systems with strong knowledge of Micro service patterns
Experience and expertise in design and implementation of event-driven architecture (EDA) in conjunction with Micro-services
Experience in API lifecycle management
Experience leading, managing, and mentoring global distributed development teams
Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project approach
Client-facing and/or consulting experience is a must
Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high-level decision-makers
Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Preferred
Financial Services or Insurance domain background is considered a plus
