Responsibilities

Develops software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.

Leads Test software development projects and co-ordinates software supplier management activities.

Leads development, selection, tailoring, and deployment of processes, tools, and metrics.

Serves as a subject matter expert for Test software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.

Tracks and evaluates software team to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.

Required

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree

Experience in leading technical design and architecture for product development. Lead & drive technical proposals. 5+ years of experience designing and developing software with NI platforms and tools

Experience with creating technical documents and developing software requirements from customer inputs along with experience in certification requirements and software versioning control is desired. Experience with hardware/software integration

4+ years' experience developing closed loop control systems

Experience with the full software development lifecycle, Software testing life cycle (SDLC, STLC)

8+ years’ experience with programming languages such as NI LabVIEW, Simulink, Matlab, C, C++

U.S. Citizenship Required due to contractual requirements

Two or more years of experience in handling product development, software design, architectural elements

Demonstrated experience in progressively challenging and responsible roles
