Responsibilities
Developing and/or reviewing technical drawings, specifications, engineering documents, and analyses for civil design, site development and grading, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment controls.
Completion or review of civil and stormwater management design packages.
Providing construction engineering support to large civil-design and landfill projects.
Completing construction quality assurance (CQA) tasks for large civil-design and landfill projects.
Providing oversight and project management of multi-disciplinary projects and assistance in managing Client Programs.
Developing and maintaining strong collaborative internal and external relationships.
Mentoring and developing early career engineers.
Recruiting, training, and mentoring early-career engineers.
Preparing task orders and proposals including scope of work, cost/fee estimates, schedule, presentations, etc.
Training: OSHA health and safety, boater certification, defensive driving certification, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring.
Fieldwork: Up to 30%.
Overnight travel: Up to 25%.

Required
Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related discipline.
Minimum 5 years (7+ preferred) of progressive experience in consulting industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience performing civil design and site grading.
Experience in task and project management.
Strong oral and technical writing skills.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
Ability to pass client-required background check and drug screenings.
Preferred
Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering.
Experience performing hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and designing stormwater infrastructure.
Professional registration (i.e., PE) or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Experience with relevant engineering software. (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D, SWMM, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS.
