Responsibilities

Learn about the domain and workflows of TikTok users

Collaborate with product managers, researchers, content designers, and engineers to define problems and explore solutions

Assist in multiple design projects from strategy to launch, ensuring high-quality experiences

Provide multiple solutions based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

Create end-to-end user flows, low and high fidelity prototypes

Review product releases qualitatively and quantitatively to ensure high-quality experiences

Assist in design workshops and sprints to explore innovative solutions

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in product design related majors (product interaction design and HCI, etc.)

Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts and strong willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-growing environment

Great communication skills to be able to articulate your concepts, vision, and decision-making

Knowledge of working with Figma/ Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and OSX, iOS & Android

A passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community!

Preferred

Solid interaction and visual skills and strong eye for detail

Great organizational skills and curious about a/b testing and a data-driven practice

Ability to welcome all feedback and be patient and to fit within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact
