Responsibilities
Lead the factory test of equipment, including setting up and downloading all necessary software.
Conduct tests on units, perform sound and emissions tests, and ensure proper installation by contractors.
Instruct customers on equipment operation, start-up, commission, service, and repair.
Provide technical support, analyze and solve complex problems in equipment and machinery.
Develop and maintain customer relationships regarding equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.

Required
Two-year degree or technical certification in an electrical-related program and/or 5+ years of work experience as a shop or field electrical technician.
Exhibit knowledge of control circuits and PLCs, gas engine controls, switchgear controls, generator installation, solar inverters, and repair, and a willingness to learn others as needed.
Understanding of specific standards included in the EGSA certification.
Demonstrate knowledge of basic distribution protective relay testing, breaker function testing, and generator testing.
Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
