Responsibilities

Screen potential deals, conduct market research, and manage due diligence processes, including liaising with internal resources and external advisors

Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential opportunities and support capital raising and capital planning

Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management, investors, and other stakeholders

Contribute to the negotiation of deal terms and the preparation of legal documentation

Support investor management and investor communication efforts

Monitor and report on the progress of portfolio companies

Develop an understanding of emerging trends and industry dynamics

Enhance current corporate development processes

Required

3-5 years of financial experience, ideally in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting

A strategic mindset with sound business judgement

Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with experience maintaining and building detailed financial models

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

Persuasive communication skills and meticulous attention to detail

Ability to assess workload and plan accordingly to meet competing deadlines

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and own challenging tasks while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude

Comfort building and leveraging internal and external relationships to achieve objectives

Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, accounting or a related field

Preferred

Transaction experience

Prior property and casualty insurance experience

Proficiency with S&P Capital IQ
