Responsibilities
Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
Work with complex data models and data manipulation languages like SQL.
Implement software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Develop and maintain backend applications using Java Spring framework.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features.

Required
5+ years of Software Engineering experience with backend development using Java Spring framework
Proficiency in Java development language and junit testing framework
Familiarity with Maven build tool
Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
Proficiency with data manipulation languages, SQL
Understanding of data modeling principles
Ability to work with complex data models
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Knowledge of data storage subsystems
Knowledge of test-driven development
Azure cloud experience
Preferred
Certifications
Proficiency in analytics and/or data science
