Responsibilities
Direct all aspects of contract management to ensure successful performance and adherence to contract requirements
Manage and oversee training, mentoring, advising, and equipping activities aimed at improving the capabilities of foreign security forces.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align program objectives with contract performance goals.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of capacity-building initiatives.
Ensure compliance with standard contract, financial, and management practices and procedures within the field of overseas programming.
Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters.

Required
Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience conducting foreign security force (military or police) capacity building at the tactical and/or operational level.
Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity-building experience or program management experience in the last five (5) years.
Minimum of five (5) years of increasing responsibility as a program or project manager or a team leader in the field of security force capacity building or in a directly related area.
Directly related experience with standard contract, financial, and management practices and procedures within the field of overseas programming.
Ability to manage and lead complex projects in challenging environments.
Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Training or operational experience (military or civilian) in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Secret-level security clearance or above.
Preferred
Experience working with peacekeeping or other security assistance capacity building programs.
Program Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Program/Project Management Professional or comparable program management certification.
Ability to travel to contract location up to 20% of the time.
