Responsibilities

Leadership of the project compliance functions including: Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H); Surety; Security; and Quality & Performance Management.

Serves as Deputy PM in absence of PM.

Customer Interface – communications directly with senior customer representatives in all areas of responsibility.

Required

BS degree and 15+ years of progressive experience in the following functions - project management, procurement, contracts, engineering, environmental, operations, and/or quality assurance.

Knowledge of Bechtel organization, policies, procedures and programs including QA and Safety.

Experience with lump sum and reimbursable projects.

Ability to effectively organize and staff a project team in a matrix organization.

Knowledge and understanding of Bechtel standard tools, techniques and procedures. Business and Commercial awareness.

Knowledge and experience in Project Execution Plan development and implementation.

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.

Knowledge and experience in contracts/subcontracts formulation, risk analysis, negotiations, and implementation including:

Knowledge of project insurance issues/options.

Knowledge of cross-functional work processes and interface knowledge, especially Project Controls, Supply Chain management, Quality management and the ability to manage the relationships/interfaces with management and functional groups.
