Responsibilities

Support new building layouts and process flows to optimize site performance
Maintain business standards for CAD, layouts, floor plans to promote safety and efficiency
Provide engineering support to CNC, weld, cut, form, paint, assembly, and warehouse departments to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
Works cross-functionally to identify problems and recommend solutions
Manages multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to analyze large volumes of data to make decisions
Support process improvements for various distribution methods

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial engineering or related field is required
1-3 years of work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment is required.
Significant contributor to new building or department layouts from beginning to full production.
Demonstrated ability of process improvements.
Experience being the technical lead of a process or department.
Experience with purchasing capital equipment and supporting production start-up is required.
Experience with automation of manufacturing processes.
Must have lean training and the ability to utilize lean tools in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality systems and process controls.
Data driven and analytical. Finding solutions by understanding data and being detail oriented.
Must have a ‘hands on’ mentality and the ability to work well with production team members.

Preferred

1-3 years of project management experience preferred.
Advanced Engineering Degree or MBA is a plus
